Speak Up Speech Therapy was founded by Speech Pathologist, Sandra in 2019. Speak Up's philosophy is that communication is everyone's right. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based assessment and intervention to a diverse population so individuals can be given a voice to be heard and understood. At Speak Up, we believe in every individual's uniqueness and we understand our role in enhancing their opportunity to express themselves in whichever way possible.
We care about our clients and strive to provide our clients with high quality care. We aim to provide a warm, fun and caring environment for you and your child.

Sandra is the founder of Speak Up Speech Therapy. She graduated with a Bachelor in Speech Pathology from the Australian Catholic University. Sandra has undergone DIR Floortime training, a framework implemented for understanding human development and learning. She has also completed training in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering, Sounds-Write for literacy, NDP3 for the management of Childhood Apraxia of Speech as well as SOS Approach to Feeding to help children with a range of feeding difficulties. She has worked in private practice for 8 years. Sandra believes that children learn best when having fun. Sandra enjoys travelling the world as well as unwinding with some good old reality tv shows!

Elisa has four years experience working in private practice with children from ages 2 to 12 years old. Elisa has worked with children across a range of areas such as receptive and expressive language, speech sounds, stuttering, AAC, literacy and social skills. Elisa has also had experience working with children with Autism, Global Development Delays and ADHD. Elisa graduated with a Master's degree in Speech Pathology from Macquarie University. Elisa has undergone Hanen: More than Words training, Bayley-4 Accreditation and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Level 1 Training. Elisa enjoys reading books and trying new foods!

Sophie is in her first year of practice following her graduation from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. With a life-long passion for supporting children to communicate confidently and effectively, Sophie has experience collaborating with families to target a range of areas, including speech sounds, receptive and expressive language, stuttering, and use of AAC. Sophie is currently learning how to better support children who are Gestalt Language Processors or have sensory needs, and has an interest in learning about different languages and cultures to work effectively alongside multilingual families. Sophie also enjoys travelling to new countries and spending time with her pets!

Sasha is a dedicated speech pathology student currently completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) at the University of Sydney. With 2 years of hands-on experience as an Allied Health Assistant, Sasha has worked closely with speech pathologists to support clients in achieving their communication goals. Sasha is skilled in conducting therapy sessions as well as collaborating with clinicians and parents to deliver patient-centered interventions. Her bilingual abilities in Arabic and English, strong communication skills, adaptability, and problem-solving enable her to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds effectively. Sasha is committed to helping people improve their communication skills and is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the field of speech pathology. Her motto is helping voices shine, one word at a time.

Naomi is a warm speech pathologist who loves helping children find their voice — especially when speech feels tricky. She is passionate about making therapy fun, motivating, and meaningful for every child and family she works with.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney, Naomi has gained hands-on experience across university clinics, schools and community health settings. She has worked with children presenting with a wide range of communication needs, including CAS, speech sound disorders, stuttering, language difficulties and social communication challenges.
Naomi is trained in evidence-based approaches for CAS, including DTTC, and places a strong emphasis on parent education and collaboration. She believes therapy works best when families feel confident, supported, and empowered to carry strategies into everyday life. Naomi loves travelling and trying new matcha combinations!

Sargam has graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from Western Sydney University. She has experience working with a range of practice areas, particularly with speech sound disorders, developing receptive and expressive language skills as well as literacy. She has completed training in the Sounds-Write approach to literacy and has a strong interest in supporting students to develop their reading skills. She is particularly passionate about working with multilingual students and values the diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds they bring to their learning. Sargam is committed to providing engaging, evidence-based and supportive therapy to help each student reach their full potential. She enjoys crafts and her favourite game is Uno!
